1/ What is the Harmonic Dashboard indicator? 

Introduction

The Harmonic Dashboard indicator for TradingView uses the special power of harmonic patterns. This advanced tool carefully checks the markets to find high-chance harmonic pattern.

2/ Indicator Setting 

2.1 Harmonic Dashboard MTS

SYMBOLS:

  • Symbol 1 to Symbol 10: Allows users to input up to ten different financial instruments or currency pairs, enabling the indicator to scan and display information specific to these symbols for comprehensive market analysis.

HARMONIC:

  • Swing Search Depth: Determines how far back the indicator goes to identify swing highs and lows, crucial for forming harmonic patterns.
  • Price Proximity Percent: Sets the tolerance for how close the price must come to the ideal points of harmonic patterns, affecting pattern recognition accuracy.
  • Show Bat/Gartley/Crab/Butterfly/Cypher/Shark Pattern: Toggle options to enable or disable the display of specific harmonic patterns, allowing traders to focus on the patterns they find most relevant or profitable.

STYLING:

  • Display Chart Harmonic: Enables the visualization of identified harmonic patterns directly on the trading chart.
  • Bullish/Bearish Area Color: Sets the color to highlight areas on the chart associated with bullish or bearish harmonic patterns.
  • Bullish/Bearish Text Color: Sets the color of text annotations for bullish and bearish patterns, enhancing readability and pattern distinction.
  • Signal Arrow Size: Adjusts the size of arrows that indicate the potential entry or exit points as suggested by harmonic patterns.
  • Dashboard Location: Specifies the placement of the dashboard on the chart, ensuring it does not obstruct crucial price information.
  • Dashboard Text Size: Adjusts the font size of the text displayed on the dashboard, ensuring readability and comfort for users during their analysis.
  • Dashboard Cell Inner/Border/Frame/Title Text Color: Customizes the appearance of the dashboard for better visibility and aesthetics.
  • Dashboard Cell Text Up/Down Color: Differentiates between positive and negative changes or signals on the dashboard with distinct colors.
  • Max Back Bars: Limits the number of bars back to consider for pattern detection.

ALERT:

  • Alert for Dashboard Symbols: Activates notifications for when a new pattern is detected on any of the selected symbols in the dashboard.
  • Alert for Chart Symbol: Enables alerts specifically for the symbol currently displayed on the chart, helping traders to react quickly to new opportunities.

2.1 Harmonic Dashboard MTF

Timeframe 

  • Timeframe 1 to 7: Choose up to seven different timeframes to monitor for harmonic pattern formations, allowing for a comprehensive analysis across multiple periods.

Harmonic Settings:

  • Swing Search Depth: Determines the depth of the look-back period to identify potential swings for pattern formation.
  • Price Proximity Percent: Sets the tolerance level for how close the price must come to the ideal points of a harmonic pattern to be considered valid.
  • Show Bat Pattern: Toggles the visibility of Bat pattern detections on the chart and dashboard.
  • Show Gartley Pattern: Enables or disables the display of Gartley patterns.
  • Show Crab Pattern: Chooses whether Crab patterns are highlighted in the analysis.
  • Show Butterfly Pattern: Determines if Butterfly patterns are to be shown.
  • Show Cypher Pattern: Toggles the Cypher pattern display.
  • Show Shark Pattern: Enables the identification and display of Shark patterns.

Styling Options:

  • Display Chart Harmonic: Allows the user to choose whether harmonic patterns are visually represented directly on the chart.
  • Bullish Area Color: Customizes the color used to highlight bullish pattern areas.
  • Bearish Area Color: Sets the color for bearish pattern areas.
  • Bullish Text Color: Chooses the color of text for bullish pattern labels and information.
  • Bearish Text Color: Adjusts the color of text associated with bearish patterns.
  • Signal Arrow Size: Modifies the size of arrows used to indicate potential entry points for trades.
  • Dashboard Location: Specifies the on-screen position of the harmonic dashboard for easy viewing.
  • Dashboard Text Size: Adjusts the size of text within the dashboard for clarity and readability.
  • Dashboard Cell Inner Color: Customizes the background color of cells within the dashboard.
  • Dashboard Cell Border Color: Sets the color of the border around each cell in the dashboard.
  • Dashboard Cell Frame Color: Sets the color of the frame of the dashboard.
  • Dashboard Title Text Color: Sets the color of the dashboard's title text.
  • Dashboard Cell Text Up Color: Sets the color of text within the dashboard for values that are increasing.
  • Dashboard Cell Text Down Color: Sets the color of text indicating decreasing values within the dashboard.
  • Max Back Bars: Limits the number of bars back from the current bar that the dashboard and chart will analyze for pattern detection.

ALERT:

  • Alert for Dashboard Timeframe: Enables alerts for selected timeframes on the dashboard, notifying users of new patterns.
  • Alert for Chart Timeframe: Activates alerts for harmonic patterns identified on the current chart's timeframe.

  • How can I set up alerts?

To stay updated on potential trading opportunities, you can set up alerts within the Harmonic Dashboard.

Step 1: From the indicator settings, customize your alerts by defining your desired parameters. The selected configurations will be used for notifications in Step 2.

Step 2: To receive notifications through the app, pop-ups, alert emails, Webhook URL, sound alerts, or email-to-SMS, enable these features by clicking on TradingView's “Alert” icon.

Step 3: Select Harmonic Dashboard MTF or MTS from the “Condition” dropdown list:

Step 4: A pop-up will appear as follows. You click on “Notifications”.

Step 5: You choose the types of notifications you'd like to receive and click the “Create” button.
